Hello! My name is Mark Frimston and I'm a software developer and hobbyist videogame creator based in Manchester, UK.

Coding has been a personal fascination ever since I got my first PC in my early teens and taught myself to program. I later gained a bachelor’s degree in computer science and have been working in software development for more than 15 years since. I have designed, built and refactored systems, instigated agile workflows and led teams.

I have had plenty of experience with PHP- and Java-based system backends, and web-based frontends, but for more than five years now I have specialised in Python which I find to be a solidly pragmatic language and a genuine joy to work with.
